About Us

The Brisbane Buccaneers ice Hockey Club was formed in 1996. The club started off with entering teams in just a few divisions and has grown to now have teams actively competing in all divisions. In 2004 we had 110 members and our goal in 2005 is to increase this number to at least 150.

In the 2003 season the Brisbane Buccaneers won the Pee Wee and Senior B Grade premierships.

In 2005 our goal is to have each of our teams in their respective finals with a great chance of being Queensland Premiers.

Club Statement

It is the intention of the Club to provide a positive and supportive community environment in which all club members and their family can enjoy Ice Hockey, improve skill levels and interact socially. As such, the financial burdens of the Club are structured so as to ensure that the burden is evenly and equitably distributed across its membership.
